The Market Staff position is integral to delivering premium meat selections to our customers and maintaining the seamless operation of the market department. Responsibilities of Market Staff:

• Provide outstanding assistance to customers
• Equipment should be cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis to ensure safe usage
• Keep track of meat inventory by consistently updating and reporting stock levels
• Assist all customers with their shopping inquiries and ensure the meat case is consistently filled
• Undertake additional assignments as directed

Qualification of Market Staff:

• Individuals under 18 are not permitted to take part
• The position requires working on Saturdays and evenings on a rotational basis
• Competence in performing effectively in a fast-paced work setting
• Working well with others is a crucial competency in professional environments
• Effective verbal communication hinges on proficient interpersonal skills
• Previous mathematical knowledge is necessary, although prior experience is advantageous but not obligatory

Physical Demands of Market Staff:

• Working while on feet for up to 8 hours per day requires continuous activities such as lifting, reaching, grasping, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, and squatting
• Lift loads within the range of 0 to 20 pounds on a regular basis, with the occasional handling of items up to 50 pounds
