Role and Responsibilities:

The Retail Bagger helps ensure a positive shopping experience by providing quick, accurate, and courteous service at checkout. This position is responsible for careful grocery handling, assisting customers, and keeping the front-end area clean and organized. Key responsibilities include:

• Welcome and thank customers with professionalism and friendliness.
• Unload and bag groceries securely to prevent damage.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Retrieve and organize shopping carts from the parking lot and store perimeter.
• Confirm product pricing with other departments as needed.
• Restock and use front-end supplies efficiently to reduce waste.
• Return misplaced or unwanted items to the correct department.
• Maintain checkout lanes, cart areas, and workstations in a clean and safe condition.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, or suspicious activity to management.
• Support loss prevention by reporting theft or policy violations.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by store leadership.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must meet the company’s minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments while retrieving carts.
