Role and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for handling the intake and storage processes, optimizing product logistics, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Handle tasks concerning the intake and storage of goods, which may include unloading deliveries, confirming with RF scanners, organizing items in designated locations, overseeing cross-docking procedures, and picking flow-through inventory.
Arrive on time for scheduled work shifts with appropriate grooming and attire.
Observe OSHA and Whole Foods standards for the operation of a powered pallet jack or forklift.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
Abide by all OSHA and facility-required safety rules.
Promptly notify the Team Leader or Facility Leadership of any accidents or injuries.
Unload truck deliveries, validate against the bill of lading, input data into the warehouse management platform, and set up items for storage.
Inspect incoming goods to confirm compliance with food safety regulations.
Properly label merchandise for organization after verification.
Perform putaway duties and maintain equipment in proper working condition.
Maintain accuracy in receiving, arranging, and selecting products in continuous flow.
Ensure proper staging of all cross-dock items upon check-in.
Keep product delivery areas, recycling stations, and trash bins clear and accessible.
Load environmentally-friendly materials and goods onto trucks for transportation.
Accurately complete all inbound documentation.
Regularly attend all team and facility meetings to stay informed.

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly wage ranges from $22.00 to $39.60, based on experience.
