Grocery Section Clerk

Job Summary of Grocery Section Clerk:

Grocery Section Clerk are responsible for making sure the grocery section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance.Grocery Section Clerk will stock shelves, order product, build displays, bag groceries for customers, unload trucks, organize the back room and clean store areas as required.They must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers.Grocery Section Clerk will follow all safety rules and must also be able to perform the duties of Cashier when needed as well as any other tasks assigned.

Responsibilities of Grocery Section Clerk:

• Timely stocking of grocery items on shelves
• Ensure that items are neatly faced, structured, and routinely switched out
• Acquire, arrange, and classify incoming stock items
• Manage inventory quantities and disclose when supplies are running low
• Ensure that shelf prices are correct and update price tags promptly as needed
