This position plays a key role in keeping shelves stocked, products fresh, and the store organized to ensure guests have a smooth shopping experience. The role involves stocking, assisting guests, maintaining cleanliness, and working collaboratively with the team in a fast - paced retail environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Grocery Clerk:

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain proper displays to ensure freshness and availability.
• Assist guests in locating products, providing suggestions, and addressing concerns with professionalism.
• Unload deliveries, organize stock, and support accurate inventory management.
• Maintain department cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Operate equipment such as power jacks, walk - behind lifts, balers, and compactors (training provided).
• Work closely with department leadership and team members to achieve stocking goals and timelines.
• Demonstrate regular, timely attendance and provide notice for scheduling needs.

Qualifications and Experience of Grocery Clerk:

• Strong guest service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, including proper lifting and equipment use.
• Capability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Functional sensory abilities to monitor displays and operate equipment.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
