Job Summary of Beverage Team Member:

The responsibility involves proficiently operating cash registers and check-out stands with courtesy and alignment with front-end protocols and organizational policies. Additionally, Beverage Team Members must prioritize customer satisfaction by offering prompt and friendly service to individuals entering the Cafe.

Responsibilities of Beverage Team Member:

• Operating the cash register for a considerable portion of the work shift while complying with the cashier accountability policy.
• Sustaining an adequate inventory level to increase sales and monitor expired items by implementing proper rotation and replenishment strategies during the operational hours.
• Sustain exceptional levels of service for both internal and external customers without interruption.
• Recognize the necessities of consumers and be proactive in addressing any of their issues promptly
• Maintaining sufficient food levels in the caf necessitates regular updates and coordination with the Deli Department throughout the business day.
• Providing training for new café employees on the products and procedures relevant to the Beer and Wine department is integral to fostering comprehensive understanding and expertise within the team.
• Building and nurturing relationships with beverage vendors and wine suppliers require ongoing communication efforts.
• The goal is to communicate departmental issues and objectives clearly to both store management and the Beverage Manager.
• Abide by the rules governing health, safety, and PLCB standards.
• To regulate, monitor, and follow Beer and Wine procedures concerning alcohol sales and the identification of customers buying alcohol within the store.
• Offer a friendly acknowledgement to all visitors and maintain a vigilant eye on their specific needs while on duty.
• To conform to the standards and practices delineated in the Redner's Markets employee handbook.
• Physically managing merchandise in the department by replenishing shelves and coolers with required products.

Qualifications of Beverage Team Member:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication skills for dealing with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Must be able to stand on your feet for the entire work shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds for 30% of the time working.
