• Supervising the replenishing, sustaining, and shuffling of goods and displays
• Getting special orders ready and setting up trays for events
• Following company regulations and procedures while using deli equipment like meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other machinery necessary for the operation
• Ensuring that the deli area and equipment are clean, safe, and hygienic involves tasks such as organizing shelves and products, keeping floors clear of spills, discarding hazardous debris from the ground, and sweeping regularly
• Checking, registering, and documenting merchandise to validate the preciseness of shipping, temperature, and quality levels

• Complete routine departmental cleaning duties, ensuring all surfaces are tidy and hygienic through sanitation.
• Monitor the slicer, wrapping, and cooking machinery; aid in the upkeep of all equipment to ensure they operate safely.
• Comply with safety, health, and Weights and Measures guidelines, and acquire and uphold a Food Handlers certification
• Have the capability to function effectively in varying temperature conditions, such as colder storage areas and freezer units.
