As a Production Representative, you will provide customers with fresh, made-in-store products while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Production Representative is responsible for preparing fresh products, maintaining department standards, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

• Cut, slice, dice, chop, and prepare food for recipe preparation according to specifications and SOPs.
• Package, label, stock, and rotate made-in-store products.
• Complete tasks at assigned workstations and assist in multiple food preparation areas.
• Assist in technical areas and with catering orders as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the department.
• Maintain compliance with H-E-B food safety and sanitation standards.
• Properly handle and maintain temperature integrity of all ingredients, products, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in food preparation areas.
• Provide internal and external customer service and assist customers as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum age 18.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary knowledge and understanding of nutritional values and ingredients.
• Experience in food preparation and equipment operation (preferred).
• Culinary certification or equivalent combination of culinary training and work experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to execute high-volume production tasks efficiently.
• Ability to maintain open availability for rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical and Other Requirements:

• Function in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Work extended hours and rotating schedules as needed.
• Safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts.
• Constantly stand, walk, reach at waist, and grasp (5.5+ hours per 8-hour day).
• Frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic materials (2.5 5.5 hours per 8-hour day).
• Occasionally bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, push/pull, or perform fine motor movements (0 2.5 hours per 8-hour day).
• Occasionally exposed to wet, cold, heat, ambient temperatures, and loud noise.
• Demonstrate the ability to lift 55 lbs individually and manage over 80 lbs with a team lift.
• Follow safe lifting practices and seek assistance for heavy items.
