Role and Responsibilities of Tractor-Trailer Driver:

• Carry out the safe delivery of goods from the distribution facility to allocated areas.
• Complete pre-journey and post-journey examinations of the vehicle to uphold safety standards.
• Strategize and execute routes to ensure punctual delivery schedules are met.
• Scrutinize paperwork for exactness and confirm that orders are accurate in terms of the number of cases.
• Employ ramps, pallet jacks, load bars, and associated machinery to manage the loading and unloading of products.
• Follow DOT protocols when operating tractor-trailer equipment.
• Employ professional communication techniques when engaging with clients, suppliers, and logistics teams.
• It is important to quickly report any safety concerns, vehicle malfunctions, or other issues that may arise.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization in the truck to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

Required Skills and Experience of Tractor-Trailer Driver:

• A Class A CDL in good standing and a clear MVR are necessary qualifications.
• The role necessitates a background of at least two years in maneuvering a 53-foot tractor-trailer.
• Only those who have reached the age of 21 are eligible.
• Capacity to handle up to 50 lbs. and fulfill tasks related to physical deliveries.
• Knowledge about Department of Transportation regulations and adopting careful driving habits go hand in hand to ensure roadway safety.
• Willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications of Tractor-Trailer Driver:

• Expertise in handling dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized goods.
• Skillful in time allocation and strategizing optimal routes.
• Strong commitment to upholding safety standards and delivering excellent service to customers.
