Job Summary of Health Care Assistant:

This role supports the pharmacy team by accurately preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. The technician works under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Health Care Assistant:

• Aid pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and distributing prescription medications, staying compliant with both state and federal statutes.
• Supervise inventory management by procuring, storing, and tracking pharmacy resources and medications.
• Conduct accurate prescription transactions utilizing pharmacy software solutions.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions and guiding them as needed.
• Preserve a sanitized, structured, and safe pharmacy environment.
• Support pharmacy staff in completing administrative duties and adhering to compliance documentation standards.
• Adhere to the company's regulations and safety measures for a secure working environment.

Qualifications and Experience of Health Care Assistant:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with a recognized certification valid in the state of practice.
• Candidates with experience in a retail pharmacy setting are preferred.
• Intensive scrutiny of details and competence in maintaining rigorous protocols.
• Skilled in effective communication techniques and delivering exceptional customer support.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, like weekends and holidays.
