Job Summary of Dairy Sales Manager:

The Dairy Sales Manager is tasked with managing and operating the Dairy Department efficiently to uphold product quality, freshness, and top-tier customer service. This includes overseeing staff, controlling inventory levels, ordering items, and ensuring proper storage methods are in place to minimize wastage

Responsibilities of Dairy Sales Manager:

• Verify all deliveries against invoices, and note any shortages or overages and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Responsible for price changes within the department.
• Maintain an acceptable inventory level by using proper ordering techniques.
• Properly rotate products to control freshness and remove out-of-code items.
• Maintenance of temporary price reduction of certain products.
• Communicate temperature failure of cases, shelves, and storage areas to manager in charge.
• Control damaged merchandise by calling in any damages and properly storing damages for sales representatives.
• Maintain good customer relations.
• Greet all customers to our store and be observant while working.
• Abid by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Transport products to storage areas, and to sales floor.
• Maintain shelves and cases to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications of Dairy Sales Manager:

• The capacity to read and write is essential for adequately labeling merchandise, ordering stock, and overseeing inventory levels.
• Skill in executing tasks based on written and verbal instructions.
• Expected to handle loads of up to fifty (50) pounds regularly, which amounts to thirty percent (30%) of the duties.
