Grocery Stocker

Company Overview:

Kimberton Whole Foods is seeking a Part-Time Grocery Stocker to join our team. As a Grocery Team Member, you will play an important role in supporting store operations by ensuring shelves are well-stocked, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with inventory and checkout processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the mission of providing high-quality, natural, and organic products to the community.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Grocery Stocker, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service while supporting daily operations in the grocery department.

• Provide outstanding customer service to all shoppers.
• Receive and stock dry goods, beverages, household, and bulk items.
• Follow guidelines for proper product handling, including time and temperature demands.
• Rotate back stock on a first-in, first-out basis to ensure freshness.
• Collaborate with the Grocery Department Head to maintain accurate product signage.
• Follow Kimberton Whole Foods inventory management practices.
• Assist the front end by scanning groceries, completing transactions, and bagging items carefully and efficiently.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, grip, and carry objects weighing 50 75 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stoop, squat, kneel, walk, and stand for prolonged periods.
• Comfortable working in cold environments such as coolers, freezers, and back stock areas.
• Full sensory range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) to read labels, assess product quality, and communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous retail or grocery stocking experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a part-time position with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour. The schedule includes up to 24 hours per week, with one required weekend shift. Typical shifts are Monday 12 8:30pm, Friday 12 8:30pm, and Saturday 10am 2pm.
