Espresso Specialist

Kroger is seeking an Espresso Specialist to provide outstanding customer service and support daily operations within our coffee shop. In this role, you will assist the coffee shop lead and department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, while ensuring quality assurance standards are consistently met. By creating a welcoming and engaging environment for customers and working closely with the deli department, you will contribute to an exceptional shopping experience. Role and Responsibilities:

As an Espresso Specialist, you will deliver high-quality service and help maintain smooth coffee shop operations. Responsibilities include:

• Optimize customer interactions by providing friendly and prompt service
• Support the coffee shop lead and department manager in achieving sales and profit goals
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment that meets company standards
• Follow quality assurance practices for beverages, food items, and service delivery
• Prepare and serve a range of coffee varieties, specialty beverages, and food selections
• Collaborate with the deli department and team members to enhance the customer experience
• Ensure products are stocked and displayed to maintain availability and presentation standards
• Engage with customers, answer questions, and provide guidance on products and menu items

• Strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities
• Ability to follow company policies, safety regulations, and quality expectations
• Attention to detail while maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
• Physical capability to stand, bend, and handle merchandise as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in food service, retail, or coffee shop settings
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
