Role and Responsibilities:
The Bagger enhances the customer shopping experience by providing friendly, efficient, and accurate checkout service. This role ensures groceries are bagged carefully, assists customers with transporting items, and maintains a clean and organized front-end environment. Responsibilities include:
- Greet, assist, and thank customers in a courteous and prompt manner.
- Assist customers with unloading purchases at checkout.
- Bag groceries properly to avoid damage and load items into vehicles as needed.
- Retrieve and return shopping carts from the parking lot and store perimeter.
- Check product pricing across store departments when requested.
- Restock supplies and use efficiently to minimize waste.
- Return misplaced or discarded items to proper locations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas including checkout lanes and cart areas.
- Report hazards, faulty equipment, or suspicious activity to management.
- Support loss prevention by reporting theft or improper conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Meet legal age requirements per company policy.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to both indoor and outdoor elements while retrieving carts.
