Role and Responsibilities:

As a Front End Clerk, you will assist in supervising and executing front-end operations to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers.

• Create outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service
• Maintain a safe and clean front-end environment
• Assist the Customer 1st Manager in achieving sales and profit goals
• Monitor and enforce quality assurance standards for the department
• Support and supervise all functions and activities of the Front-end department
• Execute best practices and standards established for the Front-end team
• Assume full responsibility for store operations in the absence of Store Manager and other key managers
• Encourage associates to embrace the Customer 1st strategy and deliver excellent service
• Demonstrate Kroger's core values in every interaction

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or grocery store front-end operations
• Leadership or supervisory experience
