Job Summary of Food Service Crew Member:
The role is suited for an energetic, team-focused individual with a passion for leadership and ensuring top-notch food service. Responsibilities include assisting in overseeing food operations, upholding standards for food safety and quality, and offering quick, friendly customer service. This person helps in leading the team, adheres to guidelines for food presentation, and assists the Store Manager in fostering a positive experience for guests and team members that reflects the company’s values.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Food Service Crew Member:
- Extend a warm welcome to guests to cultivate a hospitable atmosphere.
- Manage the supervision of food inventory control, expenses, elimination of waste, culinary preparation, and meal presentation.
- Meet sanitation requirements by keeping the food service area clean and complying with standards.
- Meet expectations for food sales performance, including pizza, breakfast offerings, and beverage sales.
- Provide hands-on training to team members on the proper techniques for food preparation and ensuring safety measures are in place.
- Establish connections with third-party vendors to enhance food safety supervision and educational programs.
- Ensure consistent stock levels and appropriate rotation of food supplies.
- Skillfully manage guest transactions while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Support the Store Manager or Guest Service Leader by performing extra responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications and Experience of Food Service Crew Member:
- A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate is a prerequisite.
- A minimum of six months working in retail or food service is necessary.
- Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in retail, service, or restaurant are preferred.
- Although having a ServSafe certification is a bonus, it is not compulsory.
- Adept at engaging in conversations with guests and team members.
- Manifesting high levels of vitality, quick flexibility, and a united team approach.
