Pharmacy Trainee

Company Overview:

Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Trainee to join our team in a highly automated distribution center pharmacy that supports Kroger store pharmacies. In this role, you will work as part of a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians preparing orders for pharmacist review, packaging, shipping, and managing inventory. You will also contribute to maintaining efficiency, safety, and compliance while demonstrating Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacy Trainee in our distribution center, you will play a key role in supporting pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities include:

• Complete automation canister product replenishments.
• Unpack and sort incoming deliveries of products.
• Sort orders and prepare totes for store delivery.
• Pack individual orders for shipment.
• Prepare orders for pharmacist review using manual and automated processes.
• Perform tasks associated with general production and order processing.
• Maintain departmental standards, ensuring workstations are clean and organized.
• Follow policies and procedures designed to ensure patient safety and security.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company privacy policies.
• Support company Health and Wellness initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass mandatory FBI/BCI background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a team-based environment.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or distribution center setting.
