As a Distribution Center Receiver, your role is pivotal in maintaining standards of accuracy, security, and efficiency in the receiving procedures that facilitate the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

You will handle the intake and storage processes, optimize product logistics, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies. Key responsibilities include:

• Handle tasks concerning the intake and storage of goods, including unloading deliveries, confirming with RF scanners, organizing items in designated locations, overseeing cross-docking procedures, and picking flow-through inventory.
• Arrive at your workstation on time, dressed appropriately, and ready for all scheduled shifts.
• Follow OSHA and Whole Foods policies when using a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Maintain a secure, well-kept, and structured work environment for all employees.
• Adhere strictly to safety policies set by OSHA and the facility.
• Notify the Team Leader or Facility Leadership immediately when accidents or injuries occur.
• Unload truck deliveries, validate against the bill of lading, input into the warehouse management platform, and set up for storage placement.
• Inspect products upon arrival to confirm compliance with food safety regulations.
• Accurately assign labels to items after verification for proper organization.
• Fulfill putaway responsibilities as necessary and maintain equipment related to the role.
• Ensure precise handling of receiving, staging, and selecting goods as they move through the system.
• Ensure correct staging of all cross-dock products.
• Maintain clear and uncluttered receiving areas for products, recyclables, and waste.
• Load recyclable items and various products onto trucks for shipping purposes.
• Complete all inbound paperwork with accuracy and precision.
• Attend all team and facility meetings as scheduled.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience within the realm of receiving operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay ranges from $22.00 to $39.60 per hour, based on experience.
