Role and Responsibilities:

The Order Fulfillment Clerk is key to delivering accurate and timely online grocery orders. This role involves selecting, organizing, and preparing products for pickup or delivery while ensuring every item meets Giant Food’s quality and freshness standards.

• Carefully pick and pack online grocery orders, ensuring accuracy and maintaining product freshness.
• Deliver excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving concerns professionally.
• Select products according to order specifications while upholding store standards for quality and presentation.
• Prepare and organize orders efficiently for timely pickup or delivery.
• Handle product substitutions correctly and notify customers of any changes when necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Support general store operations, including restocking shelves, organizing products, and assisting customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Customer-focused attitude with a professional and approachable demeanor.
• High attention to detail and precision in fulfilling orders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to support different departments and adapt to new tasks as needed.
• Basic computer skills for order management and inventory tracking.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in grocery, retail, or warehouse operations is advantageous but not required.

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $15.00 to $18.00 depending on experience.
