Responsibilities of Produce Replenishment Clerk:

• Upholds cleanliness and safety in the produce department, floral area, storage space, and work environment by regularly cleaning shelves and products, ensuring floors are free of liquid spills, and eliminating any hazardous debris present.
• Stocks department employees oversee the floral area, undertaking responsibilities such as organizing and rotating merchandise, displaying products in an appealing manner, replenishing stock levels when necessary, adhering to the Produce Department's set layout for product placement, and ensuring the accuracy of tags and pricing.
• Effectively assists customers by responding to inquiries, facilitating purchases, guiding product selection, and promoting additional products through upselling and cross-selling strategies.
• Validates the precision of orders by examining the content, quantity, and condition of products.
• Oversees the point of purchase signage, ensuring a diverse range of recipe cards, discount vouchers, promotional material, and information about complimentary food items.
• Involves using various equipment including knives, scales, wrapping tools, compactors, waste disposers, pallet movers, and manual trolleys.
• Engaging in pre-inventory preparation necessitates tasks such as organizing back stock and confirming the alignment of tags with products.
• Manages and operates the program for slicing fruits and vegetables.
• Directly oversees the department's sales and profitability targets.
• Demonstrates a deep knowledge of the products and how to handle their preparation effectively.
