Job Summary of Food & Grocery:

This position involves working across multiple fresh food and grocery departments to ensure a high quality shopping experience. From handling ready to eat foods to maintaining fresh produce and bakery items, the role supports store operations by promoting food safety, product availability, and excellent customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Food & Grocery:

• Support customers by locating products and providing knowledgeable assistance.
• Ensure fresh, high quality items are stocked and displayed across deli, bakery, produce, meat, and dry grocery departments.
• Prepare and serve ready to eat food items, including packaging and labeling for sale.
• Assist with customer specific orders such as deli trays or custom cakes.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas in accordance with food safety standards.
• Perform temperature checks, verify expiration dates, and dispose of unsellable items.

Qualifications and Experience of Food & Grocery:

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to follow food safety standards and maintain cleanliness protocols.
• Experience working with fresh food or grocery products is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Salary:

• Hourly pay ranging from $14.00 to $26.00, depending on experience and role responsibilities.
