Job Summary of Fresh Order Selector:

You will play an essential role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment. You will be responsible for utilizing technology to efficiently select products, operate powered industrial equipment, and ensure proper packaging for delivery to retail locations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Fresh Order Selector:

• Utilize a voice-activated Vo Collect headset system to determine item locations and proper quantities of items to be selected.
• Operate powered industrial equipment, such as an electric pallet jack, safely and efficiently to retrieve items based on headset directions. Training and certification through Weis Markets will be provided.
• Complete pre-operation inspections of equipment, documenting results, and submit the completed documentation to maintenance.
• Place and organize products on pallets in a stable and efficient manner, preparing them for shipment.
• Visually inspect products for damage or improper packaging, and secure them with shrink wrap for safe delivery to retail locations.
• Promote and maintain a safe, efficient, clean, and effective work environment, complying with Weis Markets' policies and federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards.

Qualifications and Experience of Fresh Order Selector:

• Working towards completion of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
