This part details the critical functions, tasks, and responsibilities that are essential for the job:
Ensures excellent member service by promptly greeting, aiding, and thanking members in a friendly and professional manner. Resolves member concerns courteously and promptly escalates matters to management when necessary.
Shows proficiency in understanding merchandise protection procedures and protocols for addressing shrink alert situations.
Keeps the AP Alert Binder current and compliant with AP standards through consistent maintenance.
Implement the recommended steps, which consist of inspecting the goods at the lower part of the cart, handling electronic devices appropriately, using self-checkout services, and expressing gratitude to the member. Verify that the items correspond to the receipts at the register and validate high-ticket items. Record any discrepancies in the receipts and alert the frontline staff promptly to address the situation.
Company procedures are adhered to during audits of Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pick-up, and Same Day Delivery.
Regulate the observance of repack guidelines by scrutinizing known repack articles.
Keep a vigilant check on the club's entry and exit points, monitoring the inflow and outflow of both members and guests
Executes responses to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alerts as outlined in the response protocols.
Upholds elevated safety expectations for the benefit of team members and members.
Verifies the contents of bags, backpacks, briefcases, and lunch boxes belonging to team members, staff, and vendors during exit procedures.
Coordinates the handling of empty water jug return vouchers from members.
Complies with the club's policies and procedures without exception.
Assumes further responsibilities as instructed, potentially including participation in other departments as needed.
Regular, expected, full attendance is a core component of this job.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal competencies and a thorough approach are mandatory.
A basic understanding of mathematics is valued.
Ability to navigate a technologically advanced handheld device.
Adequately finishing the required training and certification steps is a key obligation.
A prerequisite for the role is a minimum of six months of continuous employment within the company.
A minimum age of 18 years is necessary.
Environmental Job Conditions:
Every hour is filled with the act of standing and moving around on solid foundations.
The role may involve bending, pulling, reaching, stooping, and climbing ladders/step stools as needed.
Capability to occasionally lift objects up to 30 pounds in weight.
Coping with temperature disparities in indoor and outdoor environments.
