The Dairy Department's oversight and operation fall under the responsibility of the Dairy Store Manager, who aims to uphold quality, freshness, and customer service excellence. Responsibilities of Dairy Store Manager:

• Ensure that all received items align with the information on the invoices, document any discrepancies in quantities, and escalate them to the appropriate parties for resolution.
• Responsible for managing updates to prices within the department.
• Keep a balanced inventory by employing effective ordering techniques.
• Establish a procedure for rotating merchandise to monitor its freshness and eliminate expired items.
• Perpetuation of the reduced pricing strategy for certain items.
• Notify the appropriate supervisor about any temperature problems detected in the cases, shelves, or storage zones.
• Administer flawed products by reporting issues and storing them correctly for sales representatives awareness.
• Maintain solid customer rapport to enhance the overall client experience.
• Provide a friendly welcome to all visitors in our store and demonstrate attentiveness while on duty.
• Abide by the procedures and protocols delineated in the company's Employee Handbook.
• Shift products to assigned storage spots and sales areas.
• Manage shelves and cases efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.

Qualifications of Dairy Store Manager:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, ordering, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds thirty percent (30%) of the time.
