Dairy Clerk

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Dairy Clerk, you will be responsible for stocking, organizing, and ensuring the freshness of dairy products. Your work will contribute to customer satisfaction by providing a clean, orderly, and safe shopping environment.

• Stock dairy products on shelves and displays in a neat and organized manner.
• Monitor product freshness and promptly remove expired or damaged items.
• Assist customers with locating dairy products and answering questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dairy department, including refrigerators and freezers.
• Follow company policies regarding product handling, safety, and sanitation.
• Work collaboratively with department clerks and other store associates.
• Assist in inventory counts and product replenishment as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to lift and move dairy products safely (up to 50 lbs as required).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and in refrigerated environments.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous retail or grocery experience preferred but not required.
