Job Summary of Meat Inventory Clerk:

Meat Inventory Clerk are responsible for keeping the pre-packaged meat section well stocked and orderly in appearance.Meat Inventory Clerk will order and unload product, stock shelves and build displays; as required.Meat Inventory Clerk will maintain a clean work area, follow all safety rules and perform other tasks as assigned. Other tasks to be performed may be in a meat prep area.They must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers.

Responsibilities of Meat Inventory Clerk:

• Support in packaging and labeling meat products to meet industry standards
• Organize and restock meat showcases to ensure appealing product displays
• Precisely gauge, label, and package meat items with accuracy
• Maintain the freshness of items by regularly rotating them and removing any expired products
• Maintain the cleanliness of the meat counters, tools, and equipment to promote a safe working environment
• Support in the reception and storage of fresh meat deliveries
