Job Summary:

As a Pharmaceutical Technician, youll be a key part of our collaborative team. Job Qualification:

• Suitable for candidates with limited to no experience, up to 6 months
• Educational qualification: The educational standard necessitates the possession of a high school diploma or a similar certification
• Pharmacy Certification is the top choice for those looking to establish their credentials in pharmacy
• Specification: The lifting capacity is set at 25 pounds
• At least 18 years old is necessary

Job Responsibilities:

• Patients should be greeted with empathy and a genuine smile as they arrive at the pharmacy, fostering a sense of comfort and trust.
• Display superior patient care by demonstrating respect, actively engaging, and energetically meeting or surpassing all patient needs, such as taking orders in person and over the phone, steering patients towards products and goods, and referring questions about prescriptions and non-prescription medication to the pharmacist.
• Observe cleanliness guidelines in the workplace to adhere to company and government specifications.
• Provide assistance to team members in task management to promote departmental effectiveness.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete all actions necessary in order to maximize efficiency and provide optimal patient care at drop-off, will call, drive thru, phone, filling and order receiving, including but not limited to: searching for patients and profiles, determining dates of fill and pick-up, determining prescriptions sent to Central Fill, quoting cash prices of prescriptions, checking on-hand counts of medications and entering invoices.
• Assist the team in devising strategies to drive improvements in outcomes by integrating insights from a wide range of service and business metrics.
• Support the company in executing various initiatives and programs.
• Abide by the completion of the obligatory training program and its related assessments.
• Abide by all company, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations, particularly those governing HIPAA and the dispersal of Pseudoephedrine.
• Conclude transactions utilizing the cash register based on established procedures, including compliance with point of sale policies.
• Transcribe details from prescriptions accurately to develop a personalized label for customers.
• Help manage inventory levels through the proper ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotation of medications and supplies per company policy.
• Deal with telephone queries respectfully and promptly, double-checking the accuracy of information conveyed in order to leave the customer satisfied.
• Address customer concerns and inquiries by engaging in effective communication with both customers and internal support resources.
• Record daily medication prescriptions in writing.
