Responsibilities of Grocery Department Staff:

• Grocery Department Staff at Sprouts Farmers Market work in several different areas of the store, from the Dry Grocery Department, to the Dairy Department, and also the Frozen Department! Grocery Department Staff can be found stocking shelves, filling the frozen foods bins, and helping maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the store.
• As a Grocery Department Staff, you could be receiving product deliveries, ensuring delivery accuracy, and moving product to the sales floor using several different types of equipment.
• Grocery Department Staff are also responsible for rotating merchandise to ensure the freshest product is available for our customers.

Qualifications of Grocery Department Staff:

• Being 16 years or older is a prerequisite
• Prove your dependability by being open to working at different times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Showing respect towards others and operating within a framework of high ethical standards is crucial in supporting Sprouts' culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Exhibit a positive demeanor and proficiency in customer interactions
• Exhibit excellent communication proficiencies and can actively contribute within a team dynamic by following directives
• Proficient in executing repetitive actions, adept at multitasking, prioritizing, and maintaining organization
• The task involves moving boxes that weigh a maximum of 60 pounds either horizontally or vertically, within the range of 5 to 34, covering a distance of up to 5 feet, and this duty is to be performed for a total of 25 hours without the aid of machinery.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures protocols
• Execute supplementary duties as instructed.
