Shipping and Receiving Clerk

In the role of Distribution Center Receiver, your involvement is critical in ensuring the precision, safety, and efficiency of the receiving processes that are vital for the seamless transfer of products along the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Carry out tasks associated with the reception and storage of goods, including unloading shipments, verifying using RF devices, organizing products in specific areas, overseeing cross-docking operations, and picking flow-through items.
• Arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to work for all scheduled shifts.
• Follow OSHA and Whole Foods guidelines when operating a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
• Adhere to all OSHA and facility safety regulations.
• Promptly report any accidents or injuries to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership.
• Receive and verify truck deliveries, cross-check with the bill of lading, input details into the warehouse management system, and prepare items for storage.
• Inspect incoming products to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Label products accurately for storage after verification.
• Perform putaway duties as required and maintain all relevant equipment.
• Manage the accurate reception, staging, and picking of flow-through products.
• Organize cross-dock inventory properly during check-in.
• Keep receiving areas, recycling zones, and waste zones clear and organized.
• Load recyclable items and other products onto trucks for transportation.
• Complete all inbound paperwork accurately.
• Attend all team and facility meetings as required.

• One year of experience in receiving operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $39.60, based on experience.
