Warehouse Operator

As a Distribution Center Receiver, your role is integral to ensuring the precision, safety, and efficiency of receiving activities, which are essential for the smooth movement of products throughout the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Handle intake and storage of goods, including unloading deliveries, verifying with RF scanners, organizing items in designated locations, overseeing cross-docking procedures, and picking flow-through inventory.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, dressed professionally, and ready to work.
• Follow OSHA and Whole Foods protocols when operating powered pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Observe all safety rules required by OSHA and the facility.
• Report accidents or injuries promptly to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership.
• Unload truck deliveries, validate against the bill of lading, input data into warehouse management systems, and prepare items for storage.
• Inspect inbound items to ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
• Accurately label items for proper storage.
• Store items as required and maintain all relevant equipment.
• Ensure accuracy in receiving, arranging, and selecting flow-through products.
• Sort and organize cross-dock materials upon arrival.
• Keep product delivery areas, recycling stations, and waste areas clear and accessible.
• Load recyclable materials and other items onto trucks for transport.
• Complete all inbound paperwork accurately.
• Attend all team and facility meetings as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience in receiving operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly wage: $22.00 $39.60, depending on experience.
• Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, store discounts, paid time off, and participation in additional benefit programs.
• Eligibility for benefits is determined by the plan in effect at the time of hire.
