As a Dishwasher, you will have a pivotal role in promoting cleanliness and order in the city food production center, actively supporting operational efficiency and team security.

Role and Responsibilities:

Your duties in this position will revolve around dishwashing responsibilities and ensuring the facility's cleanliness aligns with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) established by the team and facility.

• Maintain hygiene standards by washing, rinsing, and sanitizing kitchenware such as dishes, pots, and small tools.
• Properly store all cleaned items in their designated storage spaces.
• Keep the floors, drains, walls, and shelves in the dishwashing area free from dirt and debris.
• Utilize hot water, hoses, cleaning solutions, scrub pads, and brushes as per the standard operating procedures to maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area.
• Replace trash liners and empty containers based on directives from facility leaders.
• Refill dish room supplies and alert the procurement team regarding any items that need replenishing.
• Follow guidelines for cleaning, safety, and sanitation as outlined.
• Comply with the safety guidelines for working with dangerous chemicals.
• Observe regulations concerning health, cleanliness, and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Engage in safe practices when operating and upkeeping equipment.
• Be available to address immediate cleaning emergencies within the establishment.
• Report hazards, policy infractions, accidents, and injuries promptly to those in charge.
• Execute the opening, mid-shift, and closing obligations, and handle any special projects provided.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Possessing a robust work ethic and the aptitude to succeed in a swiftly changing work environment.
• Aptitude for obeying instructions, combined with excellent time management and organizational competencies.
• A team-oriented individual with self-generated motivation and adeptness in solo endeavors.
• Openness to adjusting work hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays if the situation demands it.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Skill in adapting to different work atmospheres, including wet or dry conditions and extreme temperatures.
• Able to operate knives, box cutters, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery with ease and confidence.
• Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• It is vital to adhere to the dress code, production kitchen criteria, and PPE mandates set forth by the company.
• Openness to working with FDA-sanctioned cleaning chemicals.
• Capacity to make use of ladders when the situation calls for it.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The hourly rate falls within the range of $21.50 $35.00, reflecting the candidate's experience.
