Company Overview:

Whole Foods Market is in search of a Produce Team Member to become a part of the Fresh Produce team. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in generating a welcoming and top-notch shopping atmosphere for our patrons and aiding in the general prosperity of the store. Your tasks will play a direct role in upholding the quality, arrangement, and display of our produce section.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Fresh Foods Clerk, you will ensure the produce section is visually appealing, clean, and well-stocked while supporting department goals and delivering excellent customer service.

• Keep the produce displays and shelves tidy, orderly, and fully stocked.
• Inspect products facing forward, verify expiration dates, and eliminate expired items to maintain product freshness.
• Help the Team Leader in efficiently arranging and showcasing seasonal and popular fruits and vegetables.
• Work together with colleagues to provide exceptional customer service within the produce section.
• Aid in achieving department objectives and enhance the overall prosperity of the retail establishment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Dedication to providing customers with premium, freshly sourced ingredients and a strong enthusiasm for quality food products.
• Being meticulous and having the capacity to uphold a tidy and well-ordered workspace.
• Strong ability to collaborate with a focus on teamwork and effective communication.
• Capability to complete manual activities like lifting, bending, and remaining on one's feet for long durations.
• While it is advantageous, prior retail or produce background is not essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or produce is a plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: based on relevant experience.
