Responsibilities of Grocery Service Clerk:

• In charge of ensuring the cleanliness of grocery shelves, storage areas, and workstations to promote safety, including tasks such as cleaning shelves and products, preventing liquid spills or water accumulation on floors, removing hazardous debris, and sweeping.
• Includes responsibilities such as stocking shelves in alignment with the Grocery Department's guidelines, verifying tag and price accuracy, and organizing and facing products to meet the store's standards.
• Reviews the management of grocery product rotation, with a particular emphasis on spotting expired items and removing goods that are outdated or spoiled.
• Engages effectively with customers to address their queries and support them in making purchases, providing assistance and recommendations on products; includes engaging in the sales and promotion of additional items.
• Upon receipt, products are reviewed, recorded, and evaluated for their shipment accuracy, temperature control, and quality assurance.
• Supervises the display of purchase point materials; ensures a variety of recipe booklets, product vouchers, promotional content, and information on accompanying food products.
• Utilization of equipment like knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, trash compactors, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is essential for the role.
• Applies understanding of scales and weight measurements for precise product weighing and labeling.
• Builds and arranges boxes for setting up market demonstrations and prices and denotes goods for sale.
• Participates in pre-inventory planning, which involves arranging back stock and double-checking tag-product alignment.

Qualification of Grocery Service Clerk:
