Company Overview:

In the position of Distribution Center Receiver, you will be pivotal in upholding standards of accuracy, security, and effectiveness in the receiving processes that are crucial for the seamless transportation of goods through the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Carry out tasks associated with the reception and storage of goods, like unloading shipments, verifying using RF devices, organizing products in specific areas, overseeing cross-docking operations, and picking flow-through items.
• Arrive at the workstation on time, with suitable attire, grooming, and readiness for all scheduled shifts.
• Comply with OSHA and Whole Foods guidelines for operating a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Uphold a secure, well-kept, and organized work environment for all employees.
• Maintain adherence to all safety regulations mandated by OSHA and the facility.
• Inform the Team Leader or Facility Leadership immediately of any accidents or injuries that occur.
• Receive and verify truck deliveries, cross-reference with bill of lading, input details into the warehouse management software, and organize for storage preparation.
• Examine products as they arrive to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Properly tag products for placement following the verification step.
• Implement storage procedures as needed and maintain all relevant equipment.
• Ensure the precise reception, staging, and picking of products moving through the system.
• Correctly position and organize all cross-dock products during staging.
• Ensure that designated spaces for receiving goods, recyclable materials, and waste are kept free from obstructions.
• Load recyclables and other items for shipping onto trucks.
• Complete all required inbound paperwork accurately.
• Attend all team and facility meetings as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience in receiving operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $39.60 depending on experience.
• Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, store discounts, paid time off, and participation in additional benefit programs.
• Eligibility for Whole Benefits is based on the plan in effect at the time of hire.
