Job Description:

Ensuring the highest quality of food and appealing presentation requires attention to detail by Team Members in this job. Stocking and sanitation duties cannot be overlooked as they contribute to customers' overall experience.

Responsibilities:

• Produces food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars based on the information provided in the production sheets.
• Ensures the quality of food products by strictly adhering to recipe instructions.
• Maintaining high standards of food quality and freshness involves not only proper labeling and rotating of food items, but also regular inspection and monitoring of the storage environment and conditions.
• Keeps a close eye on the food levels and promptly refills when needed.
• Reaches the workplace on schedule, properly presented, clothed and prepared to perform tasks; handles all allocated turns and joins mandatory seminars and conferences.
• Delivers exceptional customer service by catering to the specific requirements of clients in a prompt and efficient way, while demonstrating persuasive selling skills; responds to phone calls and pages quickly and courteously.
• Optimizes sales potential with the help of effective and correct procedures for preparing, storing, organizing, restocking and showcasing products.
• Follows established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe operating practices, to secure compliance.
• A vital part of the employee's role is to preserve and ensure the cleanliness of the working and shopping environment. They should also make sure that all equipment is kept clean and up to WFM's safety standards.
• Handles the assigned opening, mid, and closing dutifully, while also verifying the validity of pricing and signs.
• The timely reporting of safety hazards and infractions is essential.
• Carries out any more duties assigned by the store, regional, or national executives.

Desired Work Experiences:

• The successful candidate should have between six and twelve months of experience working in a retail setting.

The work may require the employee to operate heavy machinery or power tools and follow safety guidelines and procedures:

• The applicant must be fit enough to be able to handle a 50-pound load.
• Depending on the job, individuals may need to stand or walk for 6-8 hours within their 8-hour work day.
• Whether it be the ability to delicately apply pressure to an object or forcefully pull or push it, the functions of our hands are varied and essential.
• The execution of work necessitates the use of specific physical motions such as bending, twisting, squatting and reaching, which are all integral to the job.
• Involvement with FDA-certified cleaning substances.
• The freezing point of water is equivalent to 32 degrees Fahrenheit, making it the lowest temperature at which water can exist in liquid form.
• Adroitness in being able to function effectively in varying degrees of moisture.
• The flexibility to work overtime and shifts outside the usual working hours if necessary.
• Proficient in operating various tools and equipment, such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery.
• The utilization of ladders may be required.
