Role and Responsibilities:

As a Receptionist, you will greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance in a courteous manner while ensuring smooth daily operations. You will help maintain the store’s standards and create a positive shopping experience for customers.

• Undertake opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks, ensuring all duties are completed thoroughly and on time.
• Double-check the accuracy of signage and pricing.
• Demonstrate mastery of the Front-End Code Book and PLUs, applying strong communication and math skills while collaborating with colleagues.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with teammates, clients, and suppliers.
• Consistently meet and exceed customer service expectations, continuously seeking to improve service quality.
• Follow directions accurately while applying sound organizational and time management skills.
• Work effectively in cold and wet environments.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed.
• Operate various tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
• Manage cash operations, assist customers, and complete the bagging process efficiently.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and respectfully.

• Ability to work in cold and wet conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Competency in using tools and heavy equipment as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience is an asset but not required.
