Job Summary of Culinary Assistant:

Responsibilities include assisting in managing food operations, ensuring food safety and quality, and providing fast, friendly service. The individual helps lead the team, maintains food presentation standards, and supports the Store Manager in creating a positive experience for guests and team members that aligns with company values.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Culinary Assistant:
- Extend a warm welcome to guests to cultivate a hospitable atmosphere.
- Direct the coordination of food inventory, financial outlay, excess disposal, culinary techniques, and aesthetic display.
- Guarantee the cleanliness of the food service area and adhere to sanitation standards.
- Accomplish targets related to the sales of food items such as pizza, breakfast offerings, and beverages.
- Educate and mentor team members on the correct methods for preparing food and maintaining safety standards.
- Work together with third-party suppliers to oversee and educate on food safety protocols.
- Keep inventory levels steady and ensure proper rotation of food items.
- Process guest transactions swiftly and with exceptional customer care.
- Help the Store Manager or Guest Service Leader by taking on extra duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience of Culinary Assistant:
- The minimum educational requirement includes a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Retail or food service experience totaling six months is an essential requirement.
- Prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in retail, service, or restaurant.
- While it can be beneficial, a ServSafe certification is not essential.
- Capable of creating a welcoming environment for guests and team members.
- Illustrating a vigorous demeanor, agility in adapting promptly, and a harmonious team spirit.
