As a Pharmacy Consultant,we will look to you to develop, lead and coach a service conscious pharmacy team who will consistently build relationships with patients by exceeding their needs and providing safe, accurate and efficient patientcare to achieve optimal patient, team member and company outcomes.
Primary Job Duties:
- Applicants must have between one and three years of experience, with at least one year spent working in a pharmacy environment, including a minimum of three months as a licensed pharmacist
- Those with a history of overseeing others are encouraged to apply
- The essential qualification for this role is a Bachelor's Degree
- Immunization certification and licensure, along with a current CPR certification and NPI registration, are mandatory for individuals pursuing a career in pharmacy
- Lift mandate: Should not exceed the weight limit of 25 pounds
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and help with the secure and efficient dispensing of all patient orders by complying with all quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent patient care by showing respect, actively engaging, and enthusiastically meeting or exceeding all patient needs, including counseling and effective problem-solving.
- Perform all duties required of a Pharmacist, which involve interpreting, filling, and renewing prescriptions for medications and durable medical equipment, reviewing the clinical details of the prescription, updating patient profiles, and ensuring the accurate delivery of medications and durable medical equipment to patients.
- Uphold adherence to corporate policies, state statutes, and federal regulations through mentoring and exemplification.
- Ensure a seamless and satisfactory experience for both the team and patients by managing schedules thoughtfully, delegating tasks wisely, and using supplies and equipment efficiently.
- Manage inventory maintenance through the monitoring of daily reports, physical inventory inspections, and ensuring the proper handling of medications and supplies to satisfy patient needs and maximize revenue.
- Partner with the Supermarket team, including the Pharmacy District Leader, Corporate Pharmacy team, Store Leader, and Regional Business Leader, to achieve peak efficiency and financial viability.
- Lead, manage, and supervise the selection, training, advancement, evaluation, recognition, and empowerment of personnel to secure sustained involvement of team members and advancement of departmental offerings.
- Uphold a pristine and germ-free workspace to adhere to the requirements mandated by the company and various governmental entities.
- Assess and review the appropriate service and business metrics to contribute to action plans for better outcomes.
- Fulfill all obligatory audits and paperwork
- Supervise team members closely, offering coaching and feedback as necessary, following the appropriate protocols.
- Maintain a workspace that is optimistic and uplifting for all individuals within the team.
- Deliver immunizations and take part in clinical services to improve patient well-being and company performance.
- Provide assistance in guiding and educating new team members in the Pharmacy Lead position to ensure they can successfully execute all company initiatives and programs.
- Stay informed and in tune with the latest drugs, therapies, and advancements emerging in the pharmacy sector.
- Uphold professional proficiency and service skills while advocating for positive changes within the pharmacy industry to enhance patient care and business efficiency.
- Strengthen and sustain professional relationships with external partners like physicians, nurses, and vendors.
- Conduct the responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician as specified.
