Role and Responsibilities:

In this capacity, you will be tasked with performing dishwashing functions and upholding the overall cleanliness of the establishment in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) determined by the team and facility.

• Ensure cleanliness by washing, rinsing, and sanitizing kitchen items such as dishes, pots, and utensils.
• Store all cleaned objects in their designated areas according to protocol.
• Uphold the cleanliness standards for the floors, drains, walls, and shelves in the dishwashing location.
• Adhere to the SOPs to sanitize the dishwashing space with the aid of hot water, hoses, cleaning agents, scrub pads, and brushes.
• Comply with the instructions of facility leaders for emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
• Refill dish room inventory and inform the procurement team of any supply shortages.
• Follow established cleaning routines, safety protocols, and sanitation schedules.
• Respect the safety rules for handling harmful substances.
• Abide by requirements for health, sanitation, and maintaining safety protocols in the workplace.
• Engage in safe practices when operating and upkeeping equipment.
• Offer assistance for unexpected cleaning needs that may arise in the facility.
• Promptly inform leadership of any hazards, policy breaches, incidents, or injuries that occur.
• Complete commencement, ongoing, and concluding tasks, in addition to any unique assignments given.

Mandatory Competencies and Qualifications:

• Having a strong commitment to work and the ability to perform efficiently in a high-energy environment.
• Possessing strong adherence to instructions, along with adept time management and organizational abilities.
• Skilled in teamwork and self-guided work strategies.
• Acceptance of the need to work during nights, weekends, and holidays when the job requires it.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adaptable to a range of work conditions, be it wet/dry environments or extreme temperatures.
• Competent in the utilization of knives, box cutters, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery for various tasks.
• Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Following the company's dress code, production kitchen standards, and PPE requirements is crucial.
• Openness to working with FDA-sanctioned cleaning chemicals.
• Proficiency in employing ladders whenever necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation ranges from $21.50 to $35.00 per hour and is determined by the candidate's experience.
