Responsibilities of Grocery Front-End Lead:

• Inspiring teamwork among colleagues to enhance customer satisfaction by delivering a top-tier shopping experience, with a strong emphasis on ensuring an outstanding checkout process.
• Collaborating with peers to assign tasks for the day.
• Providing mentorship to team members to help them exceed customer service and sales objectives, maintain Meijer standards, and complete the required training sessions.
• Encouraging peer coaching and training initiatives for new team members or promising talent can result in increased team productivity by ensuring a clear understanding of job responsibilities and standards.

• Engaging in register functions and managing cash transactions when necessary.

• Could be required to act as a lead in multiple departments within the store
