Overnight Team Member

Job Summary of Overnight Team Member:

To maintain pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the grocery department. Ensure shelves are organized, fully stocked, and products are fresh and properly labeled to provide an excellent shopping experience.

Responsibilities of Overnight Team Member:

• Help is requested for unloading the goods.
• Convey goods to stockrooms for organized storage.
• Accurately assess pricing information for items contained in packages.
• Replenish store shelves to meet tag allocation requirements.
• Assist in designing and installing retail showcases.
• Organize perishable merchandise to ensure freshness and immediately remove products that have expired.
• Regulate the volume of impaired items.
• Prior to the end of your scheduled work shift, make sure the assigned area is appropriately presented before leaving.
• Adhere to the regulations and protocols stipulated for each department.
• Offer a warm reception to patrons entering the shop and observe their browsing habits.
• Follow the directives set by the organization regarding dress code to ensure a neat and tidy appearance is upheld.
• Comply with the guidelines and rules laid out in the company's Employee Handbook.
• Safeguarding program for price maintenance.
• Ensuring cleanliness in the sales and storage sections.
• Offer assistance with front-line services when needed.

Qualifications of Overnight Team Member:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product.
• Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
• Must have the ability to retrieve and place merchandise on the top racks in the grocery aisles for proper storage. The top racking process may be 20% of the time working in the aisles during the shift.
• Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
