Role and Responsibilities:

As a Distribution Center Worker, you will play a vital role in the fast and accurate completion of customer orders throughout various sections of the Fulfillment Center. You will uphold Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety while maintaining the quality and accuracy of orders in inbound, outbound, and dispatch departments.

• Process customer orders efficiently in a high-speed fulfillment environment.
• Coordinate inbound, outbound, and shipping activities while maintaining high standards.
• Gather and transport products from vendors to storage bins (Inbound).
• Prepare and pack customer purchases in various temperature zones such as ambient, chill, or freezer (Outbound).
• Assist with loading and transferring customer orders within the Fulfillment Center (Dispatch).
• Adapt to changing operational duties as required.
• Address small production challenges or escalate issues to leadership.
• Meet performance milestones and productivity goals.
• Ensure quality standards and accuracy to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Follow operational procedures to optimize workflow.
• Comply with safety and food safety protocols; report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Provide recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and scheduling.
• Basic proficiency in understanding and interpreting numerical data.
• Capability to meet operational targets and achieve performance metrics.
• Fundamental knowledge of computers and operating systems.
• Ability to complete essential job functions with or without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment services, or order processing roles.
• Familiarity with fast-paced, team-oriented work environments.
