Job Summary of Store Inventory Control Associate:

This role supports store operations by managing incoming and outgoing merchandise, maintaining product integrity, and ensuring the receiving area remains secure and organized. The position involves overseeing vendor deliveries, executing reclamation processes, and entering accurate inventory data.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Store Inventory Control Associate:

• Monitor vendor deliveries and ensure merchandise is in saleable condition upon arrival.
• Reject damaged or unsatisfactory items and record shortages appropriately.
• Execute the reclamation process by scanning, boxing, and returning damaged, out-of-code, or recalled merchandise following company guidelines.
• Maintain the cleanliness, security, and organization of the backroom and receiving area using 5S procedures.
• Enter data related to received merchandise into store systems to ensure accurate billing and inventory records.
• Support loss prevention efforts by identifying discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Collaborate with store management and vendors to resolve delivery or inventory issues.

Qualifications and Experience of Store Inventory Control Associate:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, inventory control, or receiving is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working independently and following company procedures.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems preferred.
