Qualification of Store Assistant Associate:

• Competence in English language comprehension, written expression, and engaging with coworkers and the public.
• Understand uncomplicated directives, item information, pricing symbols, shelf labels, brief written communications, and office memos with proficiency.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Showcase proficient communication skills when sharing information with individuals and small groups within the organization.
• Employ common-sense reasoning to carry out detailed yet simple written or verbal guidance.
• You will be expected to lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis, with tasks that include frequent lifting and/or moving of objects up to 45 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving of items weighing up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities of Store Assistant Associate:

• Supervise a particular store section and restock products using appropriate instruments (excluding heavy-duty equipment)
• Ensures precise pricing for products, validates product date codes to confirm proper rotation, arranges merchandise on shelves, end displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/freezer cases.
• Prepares fresh items for sale on an as-needed basis
• Organizes marketing displays for promotional campaigns
• Upholds sanitation standards in the store and parking lot, as directed by store management
• Dispenses customer support by presenting updated store and product information in a courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly way
• Providing support to customers by helping them load their purchased goods into their vehicles
• Conducts fundamental accounting functions, including the notation of lost or damaged merchandise and essential store stock utilizing proper mechanisms
