Responsibilities of Grocery Department Clerk:

• Sprouts Farmers Market Grocery Department Clerk are assigned to multiple store sections, such as Dry Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen departments. They are involved in activities like shelf stocking, topping up frozen food displays, and contributing to the store cleanliness and appearance.
• As a Grocery Department Clerk, you may be tasked with responsibilities such as accepting deliveries of products, ensuring their correctness, and transferring items to the sales area using a variety of equipment.
• It is the duty of Grocery Department Clerk to rotate merchandise regularly to ensure that customers have access to fresh products.

Qualifications of Grocery Department Clerk:

• You need to have attained a minimum age of 16
• Demonstrate your dependability by being adaptable to changing schedules that may involve nights, weekends, and holidays
• Demonstrating a mutual respect for others and adhering to an elevated ethical standard is central to embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion within Sprouts.
• Embrace a positive attitude and excel in customer interactions
• Present solid communication expertise and the competence to engage in team interactions, while being responsive to instructions and teamwork
• Skilled at performing repetitive activities, multitasking efficiently, organizing tasks, and prioritizing effectively
• Individuals must be able to move boxes weighing up to 60 lbs., from either a vertical or horizontal orientation, spanning the 5 to 34 range, for up to 5 feet, over a period of 25 hours, without utilizing any mechanical support.
• Uphold safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures stipulations
• Conduct other associated duties as needed.
