As a Distribution Center Receiver, you will be at the forefront of maintaining accuracy, security, and efficiency in the receiving operations crucial for the effective movement of products throughout the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

Your role involves managing the reception and placement of items, facilitating product movement, and upholding company protocols and safety guidelines. Key responsibilities include:

• Execute tasks involving receiving and putting away products, including unloading shipments, confirming with RF technology, staging items, managing cross-dock processes, and selecting flow-through merchandise.
• Arrive at your workstation on time, with appropriate attire, grooming, and readiness for all scheduled shifts.
• Observe OSHA and Whole Foods standards when operating a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Foster a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Strictly comply with OSHA and facility safety regulations.
• Report any accidents or injuries immediately to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership.
• Offload merchandise from delivery vehicles, confirm accuracy with the bill of lading, input data into the warehouse management system, and prepare items for storage.
• Verify that inbound items meet food safety requirements.
• Accurately label items for storage after verification.
• Perform storage tasks as needed and maintain all equipment associated with the role.
• Maintain precision in receiving, staging, and selecting products as they move through the system.
• Correctly stage all cross-dock items upon arrival.
• Keep receiving areas, recyclable material zones, and trash areas unobstructed.
• Load eco-friendly goods and recyclables onto trucks for transport.
• Complete all inbound paperwork with accuracy.
• Attend all scheduled team and facility meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience in various receiving operations tasks.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $39.60, based on experience.
