Warehouse Worker

As a Distribution Center Receiver, you will be instrumental in upholding accuracy, safety, and efficiency in the receiving operations that are essential for the effective movement of products across the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring operational efficiency while complying with company policies and safety protocols. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct operations involving receiving and storing merchandise, including unloading shipments, confirming with RF technology, positioning goods in designated areas, managing cross-dock procedures, and picking flow-through items.
• Arrive at the workstation on time, dressed appropriately, and ready for all scheduled shifts.
• Comply with OSHA and Whole Foods regulations when operating a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Maintain an orderly and safe workspace.
• Follow all safety regulations mandated by OSHA and the facility.
• Report any accidents or injuries immediately to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership.
• Receive and inspect incoming truck shipments, verify against the bill of lading, document in the warehouse management system, and prepare items for storage.
• Examine products to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Label products accurately for storage after verification.
• Perform putaway duties as needed and maintain all relevant equipment.
• Ensure precise reception, staging, and picking of products throughout the system.
• Accurately stage cross-dock items in the staging area.
• Keep receiving areas, recyclables, and trash areas clear of obstructions.
• Load recyclable items and other products onto trucks for shipping.
• Complete all required inbound paperwork accurately.
• Attend all scheduled team and facility meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of practical experience in receiving operations duties.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $39.60, depending on experience.
• Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, store discounts, paid time off, and participation in additional benefit programs.
• Eligibility for full benefits depends on the plan in place at the time of hire.
