Grocery Clerk

Position Summary

As a Grocery Clerk at Giant Food, you will play an essential role in keeping our store shelves stocked, organized, and clean. You’ll ensure products are easy to find and in perfect condition for our customers. Whether working in grocery, produce, or dairy, you help create a positive shopping experience every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock and replenish grocery shelves, coolers, and displays throughout the store.

• Maintain product organization and ensure correct shelf labels and prices.

• Rotate products to maintain freshness and reduce waste.

• Assist customers in locating products and provide friendly service.

• Keep aisles, backrooms, and storage areas neat, clean, and safe.

• Unload and organize incoming deliveries and shipments.

• Follow all company safety and sanitation standards.

• Support other store departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous retail, grocery, or stocking experience is a plus (not required).

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong teamwork abilities.

• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
