Job Summary of Meat Handling Associate:

Our Meat Handling Associate will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks throughout the store, including working throughout a variety of different departments, and providing a memorable experience for all our customers.A Meat Handling Associate is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.A Meat Handling Associate is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the meat department in a grocery store or supermarket.This role includes stocking, rotating, and displaying meat and poultry products to ensure freshness, quality, and proper presentation.

Responsibilities of Meat Handling Associate:

• Undertaking roles in a range of departments, as designated.
• Supporting clientele by offering information coupled with excellent customer service
• Upholding safety and sanitation criteria across all areas of the store
• Any extra tasks as allocated
• Participate in the unloading and quality inspection of meat deliveries
• Handle basic equipment required for meat processing

Physical Demands of Meat Handling Associate:

• Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:
• Maintaining a standing position, sitting, lifting and stocking objects weighing up to 50 pounds, pushing, typing, taking phone calls, walking, and bending

Qualification of Meat Handling Associate:

• Being 18 years of age is a mandatory condition.
• Attaining the age of 21 is a prerequisite for employment in roles that involve the service of alcoholic drinks.
