Job Summary of Dairy Production Manager:

The Dairy Production Manager is responsible for managing and operating the Dairy Department to maintain quality products, freshness, and top-notch customer service standards. This includes supervising employees, controlling inventory, ordering supplies, and enforcing proper storage procedures for freshness preservation

Responsibilities of Dairy Production Manager:

• Check all incoming shipments against their invoiced details, making a record of any shortages or excess quantities and communicating these findings to the designated individuals.
• Accountable for regulating changes in prices within the department.
• Manage inventory levels adequately by utilizing suitable ordering practices.
• Regulate the rotation of goods to uphold freshness standards and discard expired inventory.
• Prolonging the temporary price cut on specific merchandise.
• Report any temperature deficiencies in the cases, shelves, and storage locations to the relevant manager.
• Oversee impaired merchandise by reporting damages and storing them in a suitable manner for sales representatives retrieval.
• Preserve strong customer relations to retain loyalty and trust.
• Ensure all patrons are greeted upon arrival and practice mindfulness while fulfilling your responsibilities.
• Respect and honor the rules and regulations set forth in the Employee Handbook of the company.
• Transport products to both storage facilities and retail exhibition spaces.
• Ensure the tidiness of shelves and cases to uphold customer approval.

Qualifications of Dairy Production Manager:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, ordering, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds thirty percent (30%) of the time.
